The Payroll Portal started as a working bureau's own internal system, built in Manchester. Every feature exists because a real month-end needed it: the overview, the chase lists, the ticket inbox, the partner views.
We're now opening it up to a small number of other bureaus. If you run payroll for other businesses and know the feeling of the 25th of the month, it was built for you.

No. Your payroll still runs in your payroll software. The Payroll Portal handles everything around it: tracking, deadlines, client requests, approvals, queries and partner visibility.
We're starting with BrightPay Cloud, because that's what we use ourselves. Tell us what you use on the form; it decides which integration we build next.
Three kinds of user, each with their own view: your bureau team, the employers you run payroll for, and your accountant partners, who can have the portal under their own name, logo and colours.
In UK and EU data centres, with each bureau's data kept separate. We'll publish our full security and data-processing details before any bureau goes live.
We're setting prices with our design partners. Pricing will be based on the number of client payrolls you run, not on how many staff you have, so growing your team never costs you more.
